– We participated with papers in the conference “EU history. Human rights”.
Each country presented a period from the EU’s history, the year their country adhered to the European Union, the impact on the population, benefits/impact/consequences in the development of society. Human rights (civil, economic and political, social and cultural, individual, collective, of solidarity etc.) was presented. Debates between participants took place. – We presented painters, musicians, famous writers/poets local/regional/national, from the past two centuries. – We participated in IT workshops: creating virtual albums with the paintings of the six studied painters, creating a CD with the music of the six studied musicians, creating a leaflet with fragments/excerpts from the work/works of the six writers/poets. – We participated in English classes and other subjects where the lessons were based on the theme of the project. – We participated in various non-formal thematic activities. – We took part in thematic workshops, collaborative, peer-learning activities. – We went on trips/thematic visits (View of the Old City). – We participated in cultural and other thematic activities organized by the host school in collaboration with the local partners in the project. – Curriculum integrated activities both for history and other subjects held by the host school
– Presentation done by the participants of learning activities which utilize active-participative learning methods (peer teaching) – Workshops: critical thinking and developing creativity methods, active –participative methods: brainstorming, project, experiment, role-play; the teachers presented ideas in local workshops and elaborated through collaboration new ideas for learning activities/drafts for formal and non-formal activities stressing on critical thinking and developing creativity. – Non-formal activities created by the host school to support the international experience exchange. – Bilingual lesson school. We participated alongside the students to: – The conference and the debate session – Trips /thematic visits (View of the Old City) – Cultural activities or other thematic activities done by the host school in collaboration with local partners from the project. The teachers who were accompanying the students in the student exchanges which took place simultaneously was only partially took part in the activities in conformity with the politics of the country of residence regarding the accompanying of minors abroad. – We participated with papers in the conference “The impact of the refugees crisis on present society. Equality and social inclusion.” And in the debate session .
– They presented UNESCO objectives (natural, cultural, immaterial heritage from the country of origin) in a few word and images. – We participated in IT workshops: creating quizzes on various topics, creating puzzles with UNESCO objectives (from the natural , cultural, immaterial heritage of the partner countries). – We created an exhibition “My city- past and present” with photos from their hometown. – We participated in contests which used the quizzes and puzzles created beforehand. – We used role-play on diverse themes “Famous inventors”, “Famous musicians”, “Famous painters”, “Famous writers”, “Famous mathematicians, physicists, chemists”, etc. – We participated in intercultural and peer learning educational games. – We assisted in English classes and other subjects on the topic of the project. – We participated in various non-formal activities on the topic of the project and other complementary themes or themes which suspired interest from students. – We went on trips and thematic visits (A levada walk, Mother church, Solar do Ribeirinho, Whale museum) – We participated in cultural and thematic activities held by the host school in collaboration with local partners involved in the project. – We participated in workshops: critical thinking and developing creativity methods, active – participative methods: jigsaw puzzle, investigation, conceptual map; the teachers will present ideas in local workshops and will elaborate through collaboration new ideas for learning activities/drafts for formal and non-formal activities stressing on critical thinking and developing creativity and combining with other digital learning and collaborative methods. – We participated in non-formal curriculum integrated activities created by the host school to support experience and good practices exchange. – We visited partner institutions from the project with the host school, discussions, exchange of ideas.
